With the GX Eagle, SRAM offers a 1x12 groupset with a wide gear ratio at a low price. It adopts numerous technologies from the revolutionary SRAM XX1 Eagle Top groupset and ensures extremely high performance and durability under all conditions with perfectly matched shifting components. The gear range of 520% (cassettes with 10-52 teeth) is on a par with 2x drivetrains. However, the 1x12 drivetrain eliminates the additional weight and poorer shifting performance of a front derailleur. The GX Eagle chain was specially developed to meet the requirements of the 12-speed drivetrain and its unique design makes the chain highly resistant to wear. A nickel coating offers a high level of corrosion protection and reduces chain friction. The revised PowerLock chain lock has a longer service life and is even easier to handle.
