An optimal, trekking, asymmetric tread pattern for smooth cruising. The two-row-spiked tire version provides smoother straight line travel with lower noise levels thanks to the absence of the central rows of spikes. The four-row-spiked version brings more confident and versatile performance in demanding winter conditions.

SILICA WINTER COMPOUND (SWC)

Special tread compound developed for riding in winter conditions. By combining several types of rubber, an optimal ratio between long life and good adhesion was found. Active carbon black provides outstanding mechanical properties while Silica ensures ideal hardness at low temperatures. The use of antidegradants provide resistance to specific snow and salt conditions

ANTIPUNCTURE SYSTEM (APS)

A band of approx. 1 mm thick special rubber placed between the tread and the carcass decreases the possibility of having a puncture (high structural strength and hardness). It increases the rigidity and strength of the tire crown, and decreases the tire drag while maintaining the adhesive force.
